Key information about boat storage at Canadian Bay Club:

  • Total rig length from the propeller to the trailer coupling must not exceed 6.1m
  • Total boat and trailer should not exceed two tonne in weight
  • No tandem trailers (i.e. must be single axle trailer)
  • No jet ski’s nor motorised PWC’s at any time

Please note:

  • Only members who store boats at the club may launch their boats on the ramp.
  • You need to be a member of the club first in order to store a boat at the club.
  • Other members and the general public can't use the boat ramp for launching of boats not kept on premises.
  • It is forbidden for members to use the ramp by backing their trailer down the driveway. The winch must be used at all times

Key information about kayak and SUP storage at Canadian Bay Club:

  • Kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and other non-motorised PWC’s can be stored inside the Eastern Shed.
  • A maximum of two craft can be stored in one bay, as long as it is safe to do so and the craft do not encroach on other bays.
  • Life jackets, etc, must sit within the craft (i.e. kayak) and not hang out.
  • Craft or other items not returned to their correct bay will be removed from the shed.

There is currently a waitlist for kayak spaces in the Eastern Shed, and availability for boats in the Western Shed. Kayak spaces are very popular so it is recommended you get on the waitlist as soon as you are interested. Please register your interest by emailing
